He is the guy with a weird purple hairstyle. He's also one of Shin's friends. He was lost in Okinawa when they had a trip there and he gave Kumiko and Shin a lot of problems during that time. When they finally found him, Kumiko smacked him until his face was swollen. His nickname is Uchi. Ironically enough, he's the first of the group to have a girlfriend. In the manga, he starts a relationship with a girl named Shiori. Only problem is Shiori's a big fan of horror and sometimes, at his own expense. Uchi is part of her attempts at horror tactics. But he seems to have learned to embrace her horror film love, even thinking about becoming a monster movie make-up artist.
